This musical getaway combines outstanding acoustic concerts with activities for musicians, music lovers, and families. Comfortable indoor facilities make this festival weatherproof. An astonishingly low price includes all food, lodging and activities. This fabulous mini-vacation of fun, learning, and sharing music is limited to only 180 guests.

We choose performers who are friendly and like to hang out with our guests. Workshops are geared to group participation and interaction. You are surrounded by a warm and friendly community, eager to welcome first timers.

For Musicians – The FP Festival will keep you going all day and night.

• Three days packed with learning, jamming, performing and sharing your music.
• Workshops range from beginner to master levels.
• Our “Learn It, Sing It” choir is a chance to learn interesting new songs at a workshop in the morning and perform them at that night’s big concert.
• Our “Big Vocalotto*” is a lottery where the lucky winners get to perform on the main stage at the big concert. (*Warning: “Vocalotto” is not a real word, so don’t bother looking it up.)
• Our fest guests will be choosing one talented performer from their number to be featured at our Fall 2012 Festival. It can be you!

For Non-Musicians and Music Lovers – You’ll find fun, learning and activities throughout the weekend.

• Three great concerts, dozens of workshops.
• No need to play an instrument to enjoy and contribute.
• Plenty of non-musical workshops: crafts, book club, massage, and outdoor recreation.
• Shy? Join our “Learn It, Sing It” choir and you can perform surrounded by festival friends.

For Families – Children bring an added energy to our weekend, so we make our festival an affordable and exciting getaway for families.

• A full schedule of hikes, sports, games, crafts and MUSIC for kids.
• Performances and workshops with "Big Jeff” DeSmedt.
• Chances for kids to learn, play and perform music.
• The activities are provided by the Project and the Camp Bernie professional staff.

For Contra Dancers – Our program includes two sessions.

• An afternoon contra dance with our festival pickup band and a professional caller.
• A late night contra dance with the Fabulous Rock-a-Dillies, the Project rock-contra specialists.
